Musician Jack Johnson, who is also an avid surfer, says he rode a massive wave, Feb 5th, on Oahu's North Shore. The waves were so giant that day, on Sunset Beach, that the World Surf League had called off their competition. It was a controversial decision, and some surfers decided to go out there anyway.
