Maggie Rogers has released the first single and video from Surrender, which will be out July 29th.
The "That's Where I Am" video is what Rogers calls "a love letter to New York City" and features cameos from David Byrne and Hamilton Leithauser.
Rogers wrote most of the follow-up to 2019's Heard It in a Past Life in a secluded house on the coast of Maine. She recorded the album in her parents’ garage, Electric Lady Studios in New York City and Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios near Bath, England.
