They became the first band to sell their new album "When You See Yourself"... back in March as an NFT on the blockchain.
Now one of their songs will become the FIRST MINTED MUSIC NFT TO GO TO SPACE.
It's happening September 15th.
THE INSPIRATION4 SPACEX takes flight 9/15 and the song will be played in orbit by Hayley Arcen-eaux, Inspiration4’s medical officer, who, at 29, will be the youngest American, first pediatric cancer survivor and first person with a prosthesis to travel to space. After the mission, the NFT song will be sold at auction. Proceeds go to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
