Liz Phair's song for Lou Reed with cool Claymation video

Liz Phair's first new song and video in two years is "Hey Lou," a tribute to the late Lou Reed. The clip features puppets of both Reed and his wife Laurie Anderson. It marks a reunion between Phair and producer Brad Wood, who helmed her first two acclaimed albums, Exile in Guyville and Whip-Smart, in the mid-1990s.

Phair and Wood will come together again on March 3rd for her first livestream ever, which will be called Hey Lou Hey Liz. Go to BoxOffice.Mandolin.com for info and tickets. Phair's first album in over a decade, Soberish, will be out later this year.
